Malaysian women are so far ahead of the male countrymen in higher education that the government has formed a committee to probe why the men were left behind, The New Straits Times reported Friday.
The report said that at public universities across Malaysia 65 percent students were female, forcing Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad to warn the women that if the trend continued "one day they may find it difficult to get suitable partners."
